St Denis ssebugwawo Holy Cross Parish is approximately 8 kms from Kampala City Centre, along Makindye-Lukuli Road to Ggaba-Buziga bypass. It is boarded by Kansanga Parish, Nsambya Parish, Munyonyo Martyrs Shrine, St. Agnes Parish, Kibuye -Makindye, Kyamula – Salaama and Ggaba Catholic Parish in the southern part.
The Parish has a SACCO, in the names of St. Denis Konge Church Sacco with operational office at the parish This was established to help parishioners develop the culture of savings as well as receiving financial help at lower rate in case of need. This Sacco has helped many to begin small businesses, sustain their families as well as fulfilling their responsibilities and obligations.

OUR story
St. Denis Ssebugwawo Holy Cross Catholic Parish is located in Makindye Division in the southern part of Kampala District. It is situated on plot 1040, with 0.210acres on (Mailo land). We have a rightful ownership of the land, with a land title well-kept by Kampala Archdiocesan Land Board.
Our Parish is approximately 8 kms from Kampala City Centre, along Makindye-Lukuli Road to Ggaba-Buziga bypass. It is boarded by Kansanga Parish, Nsambya Parish, Munyonyo Martyrs Shrine, St. Agnes Parish -Kibuye Makindye, Kyamula –Salaama, and Ggaba Catholic Parish in the southern part.
The parish was inaugurated on 8th September 2019 by his Grace Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga (R.I.P)
St Denis SSebuggwawo Holy cross parish is administered by Holy Cross Religious (Fr. Francis Mukasa – being the parish priest, Fr. John Baptist Nsubuga and Fr. John Baptist Ssemaganda.
The parish is made by only two sub parishes i.e St. Paul sub parish and St Jude sub parish with 20 small Christian communities. From the last parish census in 2022, our population is estimated to be in 2,600 Christians.

St Denis SSebuggwawo Holy cross parish is administered by Holy Cross Religious (Fr. Francis Mukasa – parish priest, Fr.John Baptist Nsubuga and Fr. Robert Ssali with a parish council constituted by members from the parish executive, St. Paul sub parish executive, St Jude sub parish executive and all the chairpersons of the 20 small Christian communities.
The Parish also has a functional administrative unit headed by an Administrative Secretary, Mr Kugonza Nicholas who assist in the day to day proper running of the Parish activities and Mr Sseruwagi Alex the parish accountant. And a devoted Sacristan Ms. Betty Nakku who takes care of the Sacristy.
