Congregation: The parish Shrine is under the core of Missionaries of Africa (White Fathers).
Sunday: 6:30am, 8:00am, 10:00am, 12:00pm, 5:00pm.

Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish Namugongo (Namugongo Shrine Parish) is located in Namugongo, Kira Municipality, Wakiso District. It is along Pope Paul VI Road off Kampala-Jinja highway. It is approximately 6km from Kireka trading center.
Namugongo Shrine Parish was established by the Mill Hill Fathers in 1935 and Rev. Fr. Peter Van Rooyen was the founding Parish priest.
Today the Parish is under the jurisdiction of the Metropolitan of Kampala Archdiocese.

OUR story
This Parish is at the same time the Shrine of the Uganda Martyrs; that is why it is called a Shrine Parish.
Namugongo is one of the largest Christian Pilgrimage destinations in Africa, dedicated to the 22 Martyrs and Saints of Uganda who died because of their Faith. This Shrine Parish also hosts conferences and retreats of different religious categories.
This Parish accommodates the highest number of religious houses/convents (22).
