Our Foundation
The Land Board was formally constituted to provide structured oversight, accountability, and professional guidance in all land-related matters. Its primary responsibility is to act on behalf of the Archdiocese in acquiring, managing in trust, and guiding the usage of Church land, ensuring that all actions align with the Church’s mission and long-term development goals.
Guided by its Vision “To be a leading Institution in Land Management and Utilization for optimum benefits for Spiritual and Temporal welfare of stakeholders,” the Land Board aspires to be a model of excellence, transparency, and integrity in Church land administration.
The Board’s Mission is “To Acquire, manage in trust Land Resources, Estates and Guide usage of Church Land on behalf of Kampala Archdiocese,” reflecting its mandate to both protect and strategically utilize Church land for maximum benefit.
Its Core Values:
Through these values, the Land Board continues to champion responsible land stewardship, promote development initiatives, and ensure that Church land contributes meaningfully to pastoral work, community welfare, and God’s glory.
